MedAsia's Ongoing Carbon Removal Support

MedAsia's Ongoing Support for Carbon Removal - Hangzhou MedAsia
Dio Ye

In today's world, it is more important than ever for businesses to show support for environmental causes. That is why Hangzhou MedAsia Healthcare Co., Ltd is proud to have continuously contributed to removing carbon from the atmosphere since 2021. Our contributions have helped nine new carbon removal companies make significant progress, and we are pleased to share the latest updates with you.

The nine new carbon removal projects we helped to fund include Arbor, Arca, Captura, Carbon To Stone, Cella, CREW, Inplanet, Kodama Systems, and Nitricity. These projects cover a wide range of carbon removal pathways, such as direct air capture, enhanced weathering, storage, ocean alkalinity enhancement, and more. Each project is unique in its approach to removing carbon, and we are excited to see the progress they make in the coming years.

One of the most exciting aspects of our contribution is funding research grants to two companies, Kodama Systems, and the Yale Carbon Containment Lab. These grants will help them test the feasibility of removing carbon by burying waste woody biomass underground using specialized chambers to prevent decomposition and undesired methane leakage. Nitricity, another company we helped fund, is integrating carbon removal into a new process that produces clean fertilizer. They combine carbon-neutral nitrogen compounds, phosphate rock, and CO₂, producing fertilizer and storing CO₂ durably as limestone.

It is important to note that MedAsia only selects promising new technologies in partnership with scientific experts. We direct 100% of our contributions to buying durable carbon removal, and we act as an early customer to help these new technologies get off the ground. With our support, they can increase the likelihood of having the portfolio of solutions needed to avoid the worst effects of climate change.

At Hangzhou MedAsia Healthcare Co., Ltd, we are committed to supporting environmental causes, and our contribution is just one of the ways we are doing this. We believe that every company has a responsibility to take action on climate change and reduce its carbon footprint. By supporting carbon removal projects, we can help create a cleaner, more sustainable future for ourselves and future generations.

We would like to thank these projects for their incredible work in combatting climate change, and we look forward to seeing the progress of the nine new carbon removal projects we helped to fund. We encourage other companies to join us in supporting environmental causes and making a positive impact on our planet.
